At the CES 2015, Sony has made a plethora of new announcements including its new 4K TV, Walkman NWZ-ZX2 and Steel Edition of its Smart Watch 3.
To begin with, the new X900C Series 4K TV is mere 0.2-inches sleek and apparently thinner than the Sony Xperia smartphone. It will run on the Android platform and also promises support for Google Play, Google Cast, voice search, and Smart Watch compatibility. A few of the features seen in the X900 C Series will be able to run with Android TV.
Sony has also showcased the Steel Edition of its Smart Watch. Well, we won't be surprised if steel becomes the flavor of the season, thanks to Apple. The pricing of this new edition will be revealed next month. The SmartWatch 3 will also come with a holder accessory. However, there is no word on whether it is exclusive to this watch or will be availabe with other variants too.

Sony NWZ ZX2 is the new walkman from Sony sporting Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and has a price tag of USD 1200
The next in the queue is the all new Sony Walkman ZX2. It runs rather older Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. The device supports DSD, WAV, AIFF, FLAC, Apple Lossless, and more. You will also find support for Bluetooth for wireless streaming and NFC for one-touch connection to speakers and headphones. The ZX2 will launch in the Spring for over $1,119.99.
Sony's sleek TVs aren't the only show stoppers from the company, it has also announced the updated lineup of Action Cam shooters and Hanycam camcorders. Iterestingly, Sony has added 4K to both series. However, there are some models that will still limit to 1080p. Needless to say, those will be priced slightly lower. For instance, the Action Cam FDR-X100V and FDR-AS100V will support 4K at 30 fps.
In terms of Handycams, the AX433 comes with 4K shooting along with Balanced Optical SteadyShot and 4K photo capture. The HDR-PJ670, gives 4K a miss, but does feature built-in Balanced Optical SteadyShot, 26.8mm lens at its widest angle, 50 Mbps high-bitrate recording and can livestream via Ustream.
The Action Cam X100V and AS100V, priced at $500 and $400, respectively, will be launched sometime in March. The AX433 and PJ670 camcorders are priced at $1,100 and $700, respectively.
