At the ongoing CES in Las Vegas, Lenovo showcased quite a sizeable number of new products. First there was
the refreshed ThinkPad lineup , followed by new smartphones, a ‘Selfie Flash’ accessory and new wearables. As far as smartphones go, Lenovo introduced the P90 which is powered by the 64-bit Intel Atom processor and Intel XM 7260 LTE-Advanced modem. The company also introduced VIBE X2 Pro which is a limited edition smartphone as well as VIBE Xtension Selfie Flash. In the wearables list, Lenovo introduced VIBE Band VB10. We take a look at all the devices introduced. P90 smartphone: The display is 5.5-inch FHD display, which comes to around 400ppi. It also has the 64-bit Intel Atom Z3560 quad-core processor which is clocked at 1.83 GHz and supports LTE-Advanced FDD & TDD, which means it should be LTE enabled when it comes to India as well. The smartphone has 2GB RAM and a total of 32 GB storage space although there is no microSD slot. It has a 4000mAh battery and comes with a 13MP rear camera with optical image stabilization. The front camera is 5 megapixels. The P90 will be offered in Pearl White, Onyx Black and Lava Red. The device runs Android KitKat. The Lenovo P90 will be available beginning in February, 2015. [caption id=“attachment_248397” align=“alignnone” width=“640”] Lenovo Selfie flash[/caption] VIBE X2 Pro: This smartphone has a 5.3-inch FHD display, a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon Octa-Core processor, dual 13 megapixel auto-focus cameras (front and rear) with LED flash, gesture controls and beautification features The Lenovo VIBE X2 Pro will be available beginning in April, 2015. Lenovo VIBE Xtension Selfie Flash: This is a smartphone accessory that will help you shoot great selfies, even if the lighting is bad. This pocket-sized flash can be plugged into the audio jack and it’s ready to use. According to Lenovo, “the Selfie Flash works by using 8 diffused LEDs to supplement available light.” It is rechargeable and provides up to 100 selfies in a single charge. Lenovo VIBE Band VB10: According to Lenovo, this smart wearable has a seven-day battery life, E Ink Display and will give users instant notifications – calls, SMS, Facebook, Twitter, WeChat and more – with space for up to 150 characters. It works with any Android or iOS mobile device and is priced at $89. It will be available in April 2015.
