CES 2015: Lenovo to announce Snapdragon 400-based 4G LTE smartphone

Lenovo is all set to launch its new smartphone at the CES 2015, which includes an entry-level device that will be competing with Yu Yureka and Redmi Note. At the CES 2015, the company will be showcasing a new Snapdragon 400-based device that comes with support for LTE. Though nothing much is revealed, the company is reportedly in plans to launch the device at an aggressive price. If the buzz online is to be believed, the device will be priced somewhere around Rs 9,000 in order to compete with the likes of the Xiaomi’s 4G Redmi Note and newly-launched Micromax Yu Yureka . Xiaomi recently sold **40,000 units** of the Redmi Note 4 in its most recent flash sale in India. Micromax’s Yureka is expected to start selling in India on **January 13** . Interestingly, Lenovo also plans to launch its new smartphone in India around the same time, after showcasing it at the CES 2015. It is highly speculated that this upcoming Lenovo could be the K3 that was recently unveiled in China, as it comes with a similar set of specs. The K3 is powered by a Snapdragon 410 processor coupled with 1GB RAM. It sports a 5-inch HD display, 8MP rear shooter, 2MP front-facing camera and runs Android 4.4. Some other specs include dual-SIM and 4G LTE support and 2300 mAh battery.
