Alcatel OneTouch has a series of announcements to make at the CES this year. From a smartphone that supports leading mobile OSes to keeping up with the current fad of smartwatches, the company plans to bring it all.

To begin with, Alcatel plans to announce its new Pixi range of smartphones that support 4G LTE and are also known to be OS-agnostic. The Pixi 3 range will be available in four variants and are all compatible with mobile OSes like Android, Firefox and Windows Phone.

The Pixi 3 series will feature a 3.5-inch display to a larger 5-inch display, both 3G and 4G LTE connectivity for the PIXI 3 (4-inch, 4.5-inch and 5-inch displays) and 3G for the Pixi 3 (3.5-inch device). It will also bring in customisation and come loaded with the most popular apps. There is no word on the complete specs sheet.

Alcatel OneTouch also plans to introduce its new Watch series that claims to come with an elegant design at an affordable price. In fact, it claims to add a new category called 'the affordable smartwatch'. It plans to do so by offering the watch at a fraction of the cost of its competitors.

While offering choices and styles, the Watch is also packed with sensors and apps that allow users to monitor daily activities, and connects to Android smartphones to control music, take photos, receive notifications and more. Basically, it will come with all the usual smartwatch features we see these days.
