CES 2012: ZTE shows off Android ICS Tegra 3 tablet

Though nothing impressive came from the Android tablets arena last year, it hasn’t deterred tablet makers from dishing out Android-based tablets, and quite a few were showcased at the Consumer Electronics Show, 2012. ZTE the mobile device manufacturer from China displayed the prototype of its latest 7-inch tablet featuring Google Android Ice Cream Sandwich operating system at CES, this year.

It has an Nvidia Tegra 3 quad core processor, and supposedly 16GB storage and a high resolution 1280 x 800 pixel display, which is capable of playing videos at 720p. There are multiple memory options available with onboard microSD card for expandable storage as well. Earlier, we saw the Reliance 3G Tab manufactured by ZTE that appeared to be pretty decent. According to TheMobileIndian , though prototypes were on display at the event, the device is expected to go into production soon. Apparently, the tablet should hit markets by the end of March.
