CES 2011: Sony Gives Wi-Fi Homeshare to Their Audio Devices

CES 2011: Sony Gives Wi-Fi Homeshare to Their Audio Devices

Sony has just announced that they will be launching a new range of products called Homeshare, which are all Wi-Fi enabled. With Homeshare you will be able to play your music all over your home or office from a shared library or even of the internet. Sources say that these products include networked speakers, a networks NAS device with a built-in iPod dock as well as a universal remote.

Who needs wires, eh?

The best thing about these products is that they use Wi-Fi to connect to other DLNA certified device such as Blu-ray players and PCs or even your PS3. These systems can also be controlled with an iPod touch or an iPhone after you download a free application from the Appstore.

This new technology means that you will not have to depend on a number of music systems for each of the rooms in your home. The pricing for these products are as follows:
