Another Walkman device that was present at their CES Booth was a headset DAP simply called the ‘W’ - for Wearable. It’s a fairly simple device with a head strap like most headphones used for jogging, only with a built-in audio player. According to reports, the device comes with a ‘seek or review’ function of all music stored on its 2GB drive space. It will play all tracks on the drive for a few seconds preview and users can simply select the one they want to hear. The same reports also inform us that the W would have a 12 hour battery life but take just half an hour to charge up. It’s priced at about Rs. 3,340 ($69) for 2GB.
These products should make it to shelves by February, so the reports state.
