Initially shown at the 2006 Game Developer’s Conference as a tech demo to showcase the power of AGEIA’s PhysX processor, Cellfactor: Revolution is now all set to become a full-fledged FPS title. The game is being developed by Artificial Studios along with Immersion Games and will be available for the PC by December 2006.
Selecting from a range of characters with unique psychic and weapon abilities, players will take their best shot against friends or AI bots in this futuristic shooter for the PC. CellFactor: Combat Training first debuted as a technology demonstration at GDC 2006 and has evolved to offer five fully-destructible levels with new gameplay features. Liquid, cloth, shrapnel and objects behave the way they should in games – as they do in real life, thanks in no small part to the AGEIA PhysX processor-powered effects.
