Casio Unveils New Range of G-Shock Watches

Casio Unveils New Range of G-Shock Watches

Casio India Company Private Ltd., a full subsidiary of consumer electronics giant Casio Computer Co. Japan has launched a new range of watches in their popular G- SHOCK category at an event in Mumbai. The new products launched at this event were the new models of G-SHOCK GD-200 Series, GB Series-which includes GA-110GB, GD-100GB, GDF-100GB, G-9300-1DR and Hyper colour and shocking colour contrast models namely in GD-100HC Series and GA-110HC Series.

Casio claims that these new GB series of watches are designed with a unique contrast of gold and black colour in the watch dial which is very famous amongst youngsters in western countries. Out of these GB series watches, GD-100GB has Super Illuminated LCD, GDF-100GB has Twin Sensor having Altimeter, Barometer and Thermometer and GA-110GB has magnetic resistance. All these watches have Extra Large dials with various other features like World time, stop watch, 5 alarm, 20bar water resistant with inherent absolute toughness.

Casio also claims that the G-9300 is mud resistant because of its large protective covers. Moreover it has unique twin eye display and twin sensor that senses altitude, pressure and temperature. They go on to say that the GD-200 has glass fiber inserted reinforced band which makes the band ultra tough. The watch also features a bright LED display.

Speaking at the occasion Mr. Masao Naka, Managing Director of Casio India Company Pvt. Limited said, “The G-SHOCK’S watches are designed to withstand shocks of any kind, knocks, vibrations and falls. The G-SHOCK watches have been proved to be the ultimate tough watches when tested against the severest of conditions.”

The GA-110GB, GD-100GB, GDF-100GB, G-9300-1DR and GD-200 are available for Rs. 6,995, Rs. 7,995, Rs. 4,995, Rs. 9,995 and Rs. 6,995 respectively.
