US manufacturer—Pure Digital—has launched a new version of their Point and Shoot Camcorder, which now comes with built-in software to enable users to connect directly, to video sharing web sites such as Google Videos the Grouper network. The camcorder also maintains its existing features and sharing options, such as one-step emailing, video greeting cards for a variety of special occasions, and custom-edited movie mixes. The pocket sized device will be available in the first week of November in US at $129.99 for the 30-minute camcorder and $169.00 for new 60-minute version.
Come to think of it, downloading a video from a camcorder and uploading it onto Google Videos is not such a big deal, but considering the device doesn’t slap on a premium just for the direct upload feature, it would hurt to own one.
