Call of Duty: Ghosts pre-E3 preview reveals a new level design

The Electronic Entertainment Expo 2013 or the E3 (as it is famously known) is still few hours away from its kick off. But, Activision has already kicked off its campaign at the event. On the eve of E3 2013 press conferences, Activision along with Infinity Ward gave a preview of what it will be like to play the latest edition to their first-person shoot  video game, Call of Duty on the Next-Gen consoles like the Playstation 4 and Xbox One.

STORY CONTINUES BELOW THIS AD

“Every year our team puts on an amazing production to showcase our games at E3, a spectacle that delivers an epic, immersive experience that takes your breath away. Yet all our fans aren’t able to be here and share in the moment,” said Activision Publishing CEO, Eric Hirshberg. “So, since our fans can’t come to E3, we’re bringing E3 to them.” he described this as the reason behind organising a pre-show for the game.

The pre-show featured the Call of Duty: Ghosts, built on a new story, with new characters and new experiences. The game is powered by the new, next-gen engine. It also showcased one of the new levels “Into the Deep,” which will debut along with the game. The new level is a well-crafted underwater mission backed by some good graphic work that pulses with life-like realism and heart-pounding tension.

“Our new tech is allowing us to deliver an absolutely stunning next generation Call of Duty experience on Xbox One, PS4 and PC, but that’s not all. The Xbox 360 and PS3 versions will reap the benefits of our new tech as well, which we believe will make this the most striking Call of Duty game ever created, regardless of what platform our fans choose,” said Infinity Ward executive producer Mark Rubin.

Call of Duty: Ghosts will be released on Xbox 360, PlayStation3 and PC on November 5, while the release date for the game on the next-gen consoles is yet to be known.
