The PC version of Activision’s upcoming FPS Call of Duty: Ghosts is now up for pre-order over digital distribution service Steam . Pre-ordering the game costs $59.99, which roughly translates to Rs 3,400. Surprisingly, however, there isn’t any pre-order bonus for the game. Pre-ordering the game will let you play it on the day of its launch – November 5.

According to the description of the game on Steam, the game is taking a step in a new direction with its narrative, where instead of fighting for freedom or liberty, players are on the side of a crippled nation and are fighting simply to survive.

The game takes place ten years after a devastating event where the country’s borders and the balance of power have been redrawn. The country isn’t a superpower anymore and its economy and government are in ashes. The military is basically fighting to stave off the complete collapse of society.

One of the key features of the game is a new next-gen engine that allows a higher level of graphics while at the same time promising a stable 60 fps framerate on all platforms.

The game will be taking place in an altogether new universe that is vastly different from both the Modern Warfare series as well as the Black Ops series. The game will also be featuring new features in its multiplayer component. Thanks to its new engine, maps in Call of Duty: Ghosts will have dynamic features, such as earthquakes, floods and player-initiated events that alter the flow of every fight.

Ever heard of one of those people who just never seem to shut up about something? Shunal is like the nerd equivalent of that guy. Believe us when we say that he can go on talking about games and smartphones for hours on end. We do manage to find some insight in his insane ramblings though, and through his moronic facade, he does seem to know more than he lets on. Sadly enough, it always ends up being about gaming with him. Or stupid, stupid puns. see more
