It seems the entire brigade of politicians and parents threw a fit when Rockstar first announced Bully. Knowing Rockstar’s track record with the GTA series (you know, Hot Coffee, gratuitous violence and all that), parents were terrified of this game and it seemed they had their way because I remember reading reports that Rockstar may end up canceling the game. But now we get word via Eurogamer.net that Rockstar has shoved a big, juicy, STFU in every one’s face as the game is still being developed and is expected to release sometime in 2006. For those who have no clue as to what the game’s all about, read this: As a troublesome schoolboy, you’ll laugh and cringe as you stand up to bullies, get picked on by teachers, play pranks on malicious kids, win or lose the girl, and ultimately learn to navigate the obstacles of the fictitious reform school, Bullworth Academy. I really don’t see what the big deal was because you’re actually standing upto the bully, instead of being one.
