Indian smartphone brand Swipe Technologies launched a new budget-oriented smartphone for the Indian market. The Swipe Elite Pro 4G has been launched at a price of Rs 6,999 and will be available exclusively on e-commerce website Snapdeal. Inside it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset, though Swipe has not specified the chipset variant the phone uses. The quad-core processor is, however, clocked at 1.4 GHz which has been mentioned on the smartphone’s product page on
**Snapdeal** . The Swipe Elite Pro 4G also gets 3 GB of RAM along with 32 GB of onboard storage. Storage on the phone is also expandable up to 64 GB via a microSD card. In terms of battery capacity, the Swipe Elite Pro gets a non-user replaceable 2,500 mAh unit. Moving on to camera specifications, the Elite Pro comes with a 13 MP primary camera with auto-focus and flash, while on the front it features an 8 MP selfie shooter. The phone runs
**Android Marshmallow** out of the box and also adds support for multiple languages. Sensors on the phone include an accelerometer and digital compass as well as a fingerprint scanner on the back. The phone is available in only an ivory white colour.
