Developer Splash Damage’s free-running shooter, Brink, met with quite a rocky start. The rather ambitious multiplayer shooter from the makers of Quake Wars was panned by critics for its lackluster gameplay and horribly optimized performance. While Splash Damage can’t do much about the gameplay right now, they’re working on a bunch of patches for all three platforms to ensure a smoother online experience.

Did you hear? We may not lag that much now.
The Xbox360 and PC patches are available right now, both of which will automatically be downloaded via Xbox Live and Steam respectively. Considering the PSN is down right now, PS3 owners can expect a patch the minute the PSN comes back online. You can check out the details of these patches at Bethesda’s official blog .
We’re still waiting on our review copies and if all goes well, we should have our review up by next week.
Nash, as he prefers being called, woke up to the wonders of gaming rather late but don't bring that up around him. It's a touchy subject. A self confessed Battlefield veteran, Nash spent a good part of 2010 on the Steam Battlefield - with Bad Company (see what we did there?). He has a zero tolerance policy towards RTS games but is currently showing an interest by picking up and moving people - who he refers to as units - in the office. Thank God he's not that enthusiastic about Angry Birds or we'd be seeing women flying all over the place. Bali... Bali, put the receptionist down now.
