Gearbox has announced a new DLC for its loot-based FPS—Borderlands 2. The game will be getting the Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack 2, and will cost $5 (Rs 300 approx). The DLC will raise the level cap of the game by 11, bringing it to 72. It will also have the Digistruct Peak Challenge, which is a new map, loot and the “ability to over level your game for extra challenges,” according to Polygon . The DLC will be sold separately and will not be part of the Borderlands 2 Season Pass.
Still being supported a year after launch
The other DLC that is making its way to Borderlands 2 is Headhunter Pack: T.K. Baha’s Bloody Harvest. The DLC will be released this fall, and will include a new mission and a themed boss fight with T.K. Baha, who fans will remember being present in the first game and some of its DLC. Beating Baha will award players with new customisation options for their characters. The price for this DLC hasn’t yet been announced. There will be more Headhunter Packs released later.
Borderlands 2 has gotten a lot of DLC over the (almost) year since its release. The last DLC released for the game was Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep, which was the last major story DLC pack part of the Season Pass. The DLC revolves around Tiny Tina as she gets the main cast of Borderlands 2 to play a board game based on Dungeons & Dragons. The vault hunters are sucked into a medieval world in the mind of Tina as she narrates the story and makes some rather interesting changes along the way.
