Borderland 2's Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack 2 will have overpowered weapons

Gearbox has revealed more information about the upcoming Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack 2 DLC for Borderlands 2. The DLC is making its way to PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on September 3. When combined with the original Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack, the new pack will raise Borderlands 2’s level cap up to 72.

It will also be getting a new map and mission. The DLC will revolve around Digistruct Peak, which will have its own Legendary class mods and Pearlescent-grade weapons. If confident, players can also unlock overpowered enemies which will drop better loot.

Combining both the Upgrade Packs will get players more bonuses, such as more badass weapons, overpowered loot and new class mods.

Get ready for more mayhem

Recently, Gearbox confirmed that Borderlands 2 will be getting a Game of the Year Edition . The edition includes the main game, Captain Scarlett and her Pirate’s Booty, Mr Torgue’s Campaign of Carnage, Sir Hammerlock’s Big Game Hunt, Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep, Creature Slaughter Dome, Gaige the Mechromancer, Gearbox Gun Pack, Golden Key, Vault Hunter’s Relic, Krieg the Psycho, Collector’s Edition heads and skins and the first Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack.

Currently, no price has been announced for it. However, going by the precedent set by other games (including the first Borderlands) we expect it to cost the same as the main game did.
