BlackBerry has announced a limited period special offer on the Q10. Until January 26, users can buy the BlackBerry Q10 at a discounted price of Rs 38,990. BlackBerry released a statement saying the company is committed towards the Indian market “to reach out to more potential customers and QWERTY keyboard loyalists”.

The Q10 QWERTY smartphone was launched in India in June for 44, 900, and with the new price cut the company is offering a discount of around. The BlackBerry Q10 sports a 3.1-inch touchscreen display with 720 x 720-pixel resolution, giving it a rather high pixel density of 328ppi. It is powered by a 1.5GHz TI OMAP 4470 dual-core processor and has a PowerVR SGX544 GPU. Some other specs include BB10 OS, 8-megapixel rear camera, 2-megapixel front-facing camera, 16GB onboard storage, microSD card slot and 2100mAh Li-ion battery. In September, BlackBerry had announced a similar price drop for the Z10 . The Z10 that was launched at Rs 43,490 was being offered for Rs 29,990 as a limited period festive offer. It features a large 5-inch AMOLED display and runs on BB 10.2 OS. The smartphone is powered by a 1.7GHz dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor with Adreno 320.
