Blackberry recently announced the launch of its latest smartphone by TCL, the Blackberry KEYone. The smartphone was first teased during CES 2017 and finally Blackberry revealed the details at its QWERTY keyboard sporting smartphone.

Blackberry recently announced the launch of its latest smartphone by TCL, the Blackberry KEYone. The smartphone was first teased during CES 2017 and finally Blackberry revealed the details at its QWERTY keyboard sporting smartphone. Despite the announcement, the company did not share details about the wider launch, availability except the fact that it will be available in select markets from April 2017. Interestingly, the details of the pricing for the smartphone have been leaked by an e-commerce website in India. E-commerce website OnlyMobiles.com has listed Blackberry KEYone for Rs 39,999 along with EMI option to pay gradually along with a 12 month warranty as reported by GSMArena. This converts to about $599 for other markets. According to the listing, the smartphone comes with a USB Type-C, Power brick, user manual and earbuds out of the box. The smartphone is powered by an Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 MSM8953 clocked at 2.0GHz with Adreno 506 GPU. The company has packed 32GB internal storage with expandable storage up to 256GB along with 3GB RAM along with the most important, QWERTY keyboard. The smartphone comes with a 12MP camera module with f/2.0 aperture and phase detection autofocus on the back along with an 8MP camera module on the front. KEYone will run Android Nougat 7.1 out of the box along with LTE-enabled Nano-SIM slot, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, WiFi Direct, hotspot, Bluetooth v4.2 with A2DP, LE and EDR support, GPS, NFC, FM radio, 3.5mm headphone jack and USB Type-C in terms of connectivity options. Last but not the least, the smartphone comes along with a front fingerprint, accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity and compass sensors to increase the functionality. The smartphone comes with a 3,505mAh non-removable Lithium-Ion battery.
