BlackBerry seems to be working on a new premium smartphone which will likely be exclusive to the Indian market. While the company has yet to mention a word officially, a new report suggests that the smartphone will be called BlackBerry Ghost.

OEM Optiemus Infracom, who owns the license for making BlackBerry phones in the country is reportedly making the device, which is why the 'Ghost' is going be exclusive to India similar to BlackBerry KeyOne 'Limited Edition Black'. Popular tipster Evan Blass (@evleaks) was the first to reveal the image to Twitter audiences where he posted a render of the phone, giving us a first glimpse of what the smartphone may look like.

According to a report by GSMArena, the BlackBerry Ghost will sport a bezel-less design and will be available in a full black colour scheme. Now, we do not really know whether BlackBerry will be attempting a truly bezel-less edge-to-edge design or a more standard approach we see in most Android devices.
From what we gather from the image posted by Blass, the front of the smartphone does remind us a lot of the OnePlus 5T. What is also striking is the omission of a keyboard, which is generally a characteristic feature in BlackBerry phones.
We do not have any specifications or rumours to go by just yet, but considering this will be a 'premium' device, we should expect flagship-like features to be added to the phone.
