BlackBerry Classic expected to launch at Rs 31,990

BlackBerry Classic Q20 is slated to officially  **launch today** , though an eBay seller has already listed it online for Rs 31,990. Now unlike other BlackBerry Classic’s you may see on eBay, this one comes with a VAT bill, one year India warranty and the site says that the shipping will start only after the 17th - which is a good two days after launch. The Classic Q20 has been launched in the US for $499 which comes to around Rs 31,000 when converted from today’s dollar pricing. So the Rs 31,990 price point seems legit, but we will only come to know it for sure tomorrow.    Unlike the imported Classic Q20’s on eBay which come with seller warranties, the one listed above comes with a manufacturer warranty. On the specs front, the BlackBerry Classic sports a 3.5-inch display with a 720×720 pixel resolution giving a pixel density of 294ppi. Under the hood, the Classic is powered by a 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Plus (MSM8960) processor along with 2GB of RAM. It runs on BlackBerry OS 10.3.  IT comes with 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded via a microSD card to 128GB. On the camera front, you get an 8MP rear camera with LED flash unit which is capable of shooting full HD videos as 30 fps. This is complemented by a 2MP front-facing camera.
