BenQ launches 2 new consumer digicams

BenQ, the Netherlands, a manufacturer of digital lifestyle devices, introduced two new additions to its digital compact camera line-up - the DC-E310 and the DC-C510. The former is a CMOS sensor based 3.2 megapixel camera featuring a 1.5 inch LCD display; while the latter is a 5.0 megapixel CCD sensor based digicam with a 2 inch LCD screen and also doubles up as a webcam. Both cameras feature PictBridge support, which allows printers to directly connect to the camera for printing. The cameras are set to launch by June 2006.
