It’s going to be a long two weeks as we wait for the launch of the **OnePlus 5** , but while we do, here’s something to chew on. Benchmark listings for an 8 GB RAM variant of the OnePlus 5 have finally appeared on GeekBench. The listing, first reported by Android Pure, shows the 8 GB RAM variant of the device hitting a single core score of 1917 and a multi-core score of 6562 on Geekbench 4. The score is actually a bit lower than the leaked scores of the 6 GB variant, which managed a score of 1963 and 6687 in the single core and multi-core department. The scores are clearly higher than the OnePlus 3T’s score of 1791 and 4065 of course, but a tad lower than those of the Exynos-powered Samsung Galaxy S8. The OnePlus 5 is expected to arrive in India on 22 June following its global reveal on 20 June. The device will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 mobile platform and come in a 6 GB RAM and 8 GB RAM variant with up to 256 GB of storage. The device is to be equipped with a dual-camera system built in collaboration with photography benchmarking experts **DxO Mark** . The **latest rumours suggest** that the base model of the device with 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage will retail for Rs 32,999.
