Beetel Announces 3G Max, A Portable Wi-Fi Hotspot

Beetel Teletech, a Bharti Enterprises group company has just announced the launch of a new wireless portable hotspot device called the Beetel 3G Max for the Indian market.

Beetel Announces 3G Max, A Portable Wi-Fi Hotspot

Beetel Teletech, a Bharti Enterprises group company has just announced the launch of a new wireless portable hotspot device called the Beetel 3G Max for the Indian market. Beetel has been in the news with a recent announcement of an imminent tablet launch which undoubtedly has their audience quite curious. The 3G Max portable hot spot is designed to connect to a mobile phone carrier and provide Internet access for up to five devices. The device could cater to multiple users at home, small businesses and even enterprises to use Internet services at a lower cost.

Beetel says the 3G Max can work from up to a distance of up to 10m or 30 ft and provides Internet or network access to any Wi-Fi enabled peripheral device like mobile phones, tablets, laptops etc. It will also allow users to manage, monitor, and customize their Wi-Fi mobile broadband connection through an easy-to-use interface when the device is in Wi-Fi mode. The device is compatible with Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, MAC and Linux operating systems. It features a standard USB 2.0 port.

The Beetel 3G Max is stated to have battery usage time of up to 4 hrs when active and 40 hrs in standby mode. It packs in a 1500mAh battery. The device is priced at Rs. 5,500 (MRP).
