EA has released a trailer for the first upcoming DLC that will be hitting Battlefield 4. Dubbed Second Assault, the DLC is part of Battlefield 4 Premium, so those who bought that will get the DLC automatically. The trailer gives us a glimpse at the maps featured in the DLC. Check it out:

The DLC is a return to Battlefield 3, with the featured maps essentially being remakes of some of the popular ones from BF3, including Caspian Border, Gulf of Oman, Operation Firestorm and Metro. While the maps are the same, they will include some of the new Battlefield 4 features such as improved destruction and levolution.

After Second Assault is out, DICE will start working on the China Rising DLC, which will involve fighting on the Chinese mainland. After that, Naval Strike, Dragon’s Teeth and Final Stand will be released over time. Naval Strike, as the name would imply, concentrates on naval battles. Dragon’s Teeth will involve urban warfare by the US. Final Stand will be an end to the great war that has been played out in the other map packs.

Get ready for the second assault!

Battlefield 4 made its way to stores back in October. It has a fairly unimpressive single player campaign, but its main focus is the multiplayer, as is evident from all the DLC the game will be getting. Check out our review of Battlefield 4, where we thought it was pretty good as long as you stayed away from the single player campaign, but a bit too overpriced.

Battlefield 4 is out now on PC, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4. The Xbox One will be getting the game as part of its launch line-up.

Ever heard of one of those people who just never seem to shut up about something? Shunal is like the nerd equivalent of that guy. Believe us when we say that he can go on talking about games and smartphones for hours on end. We do manage to find some insight in his insane ramblings though, and through his moronic facade, he does seem to know more than he lets on. Sadly enough, it always ends up being about gaming with him. Or stupid, stupid puns. see more
