If like us you’re absolutely pumped about the next Battlefield iteration, you’ll be glad to know that DICE are planning a reveal at the Game Developer’s Conference (GDC) that’ll take place in San Francisco this March. That conference would also be the right time for DICE to drop up info on the Battlefield 3 beta, that you can partake in if you’ve purchased the Limited Edition of Medal of Honor.

And in case you haven’t been following our bitching Gaming Roundup, Battlefield 3 will be incompatible with Windows XP. No that’s not a punishment; that’s just DICE showing PC gamers that they, uhh, care? The project’s lead designer, David Goldfarb has also tweeted that the PC version of this game won’t be a dumbed down console port receiving “extra attention”. While that sounds fine and dandy I really hope they don’t screw up on launch date, the way they did with Bad Company 2.
