Publisher Warner Bros has announced the Batman: Arkham Collection. The set will include all three games in the Arkham series that have been released so far: Arkham Asylum, Arkham City and Arkham Origins. The Arkham Collection will be making its way to Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC, and is expected to hit stores on November 22. Along with all three games, the bundle will also include all of the DLC that have been released for Arkham Asylum and Arkham City by virtue of them being Game of the Year Editions. As for Arkham Origins, buyers will be getting access to the Knightfall DLC pack in the set.

Batman doesn’t like being delayed

A great chance for those who missed the first games to get into the franchise

The latest game in the franchise, Arkham Origins, hit stores last month. It is a prequel to the other Arkham games, and puts players in control of a relatively young Bruce Wayne, just two years into his career as the Batman. It features a bigger open world in the form of Gotham City and takes place before most of the villains in the city have risen to true power. The developers have explained that Batman in this game is unrefined and rough, especially when compared to the cold, calculating and crazily prepared Batman we saw in Arkham Asylum and Arkham City.

While the first couple of games have been great, Arkham Origins missed the mark, as you can read in our review . Instead of bringing anything new to the table, WB decided to play it safe with Origins. As a result, instead of having the leap we got between Arkham Asylum and City, we got something that was more iterative than anything else.

Ever heard of one of those people who just never seem to shut up about something? Shunal is like the nerd equivalent of that guy. Believe us when we say that he can go on talking about games and smartphones for hours on end. We do manage to find some insight in his insane ramblings though, and through his moronic facade, he does seem to know more than he lets on. Sadly enough, it always ends up being about gaming with him. Or stupid, stupid puns.
