Quite like last year, Instagram has released a list of most photographed locations in the world in 2013. Like 2012, this year too sees a place in Thailand top the list for being the most Instagrammed location on the planet. However, it isn’t the Suvarnabhumi Airport like last time but a mall called Siam Paragon where everyone loves to whip out their phone and fire up Instagram.

In a blog post announcing the top 10 this year, the Instagram team announced that the Eiffel Tower in Paris had dropped out of the list altogether, after making an appearance last year. Funnily enough, the list this year stays restricted to places of interest in the US and Thailand only, with the topper from last year, Suvarnabhumi coming in at number nine.

The usual suspects still make the list. There’s Times Square in New York, Disneyland in California, Disney World in Florida, and New York’s Central Park. To add to the list, Instagram has also released a list of the most Instagrammed cities of 2013 too. New York tops the list, followed by Bangkok. American cities Los Angeles, Las Vegas and San Francisco, make up the next most popular destinations, as well as London, Moscow, Sao Paulo and Rio de Janerio too made it to the list.

It has also been reported that the picture that received the most likes over the course of this year belonged to Justin Bieber. Of course, you may have seen a hundred other much better photos on your timeline, but Bieber’s picture with Will Smith has walked away with the award thanks to over 1.5 million likes, since being posted a mere four months ago.
