Over the past few weeks, I’ve been terribly distracted by Skyrim, but now it looks like I’ll be heading back to Battlefield 3 as DICE are dropping their Back to Karkand pack, next week. If you recall the whole PS3 Battlefield 3 fiasco , PS3 owners will be getting this DLC first by the 6th of December after which it will be available to Xbox360 and PC owners a week later.
Never leave the Battlefield
If you had pre-ordered Battlefield 3, this DLC will be available to you, absolutely free. If not, you can always pick it up for $14.99. And in case you’ve forgotten, the Back to Karkand pack ships with three visually upgraded Battlefield 2 maps - Strike at Karkand, Wake Island, Gulf of Oman and Sharqi Peninsula. It also includes five new dog tags, five new achievements/trophies, three new vehicles (DPV, BTR-90, F-35B STOVL jet fighter), 10 new weapons and persistent unlocks.
