At 7 RCR meeting, Tim Cook launches updated version of 'Narendra Modi Mobile App'

As the tech world awaits updates from the PM Narendra Modi-Apple CEO Tim Cook meeting at 7 RCR today, we caught a tweet from the PM about Tim Cook launching an updated version of the ‘Narendra Modi Mobile App’. https://twitter.com/narendramodi/status/733904479263821824 Thanking Cook in the tweet, PM Modi informs that the updated version contains a new volunteering network on the app. He urged followers to take a look at it and share ideas and contribute to make it an enriching forum. PM Narendra Modi is already pushing for ‘UMANG’ which stands for Unified Mobile Application for New-age Governance. UMANG app is a government project which is expected to bring all government’s services onto one platform. According to a reports , this mobile application will eventually bring some 200 central, state and local government services onto a single platform. The Narendra Modi government aims to make the app available to anyone using a smartphone and internet.
