The phone which powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 also features a mammoth 8 GB of RAM. Asus also claims on its Twitter page that the 821 on the Zenfone AR is designed for Google Tango. Going by Asus's global website, the phone packs a 3,000 mAh battery and will run on Android 7.0 along with Asus ZenUI 3.0. Other features include a Super AMOLED 5.7-inch display with Gorilla Glass 4 protection, which comes with added support for a Bluelight Filter for eye care.
With a TriCam System, this phone comes with a 23 MP rear camera with PixelMaster 3.0 technology (and an aperture of f/2.0) as well as a motion-tracking and depth-sensing camera enabling augmented reality. Meanwhile, it has an 8 MP front camera along with a screen flash. Internal storage is, however, limited to 64 GB and a microSD slot that supports up to 2 TB external storage.
