**Asus** has already sent out invites for the ZenFone 5
**series of smartphones** expected to be launched at Mobile World Congress 2018 on 27 February. Now, images of the Asus ZenFone 5 have leaked online before the launch. [caption id=“attachment_4335839” align=“alignleft” width=“380”] Asus ZenFone 5.

report on WinFuture, the smartphone comes with an 18:9 aspect ratio display. The images spotted in the manufacturers manual shows dual-camera module on the device. The dual-cameras are aligned vertically instead of the conventional horizontal set-up seen on Asus smartphones and there’s a single LED flash sitting below the dual-camera set up on the smartphone. The smartphone expected to be Asus ZenFone 5 bears a model name of X00PD. The images show a micro-USB port and a fingerprint scanner on the rear side of the device. **MWC 2018** in Barcelona. Previous reports had suggested that two of the expected smartphones to be launched would be named as the Asus ZenFone 5 Lite and the Asus ZenFone 5 Max. One of the smartphones, the Asus ZenFone 5 Max is also reported to have received the
**Wi-Fi Alliance certification** . The device is expected to run on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box along with support for Wi-Fi 802.11 ac. Reports suggest that it will be an upper-mid range device.
