Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe and Zenfone 3 Ultra launched in India

After plenty of waiting, Asus India today announced the launch of two premium smartphones called the Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe and the Zenfone 3 Ultra. The devices feature top notch specifications and an all metal construction which is why they are priced in the premium range as well. The Zenfone 3 Deluxe will be available in two variants. There one with a top-of-the-line Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 chipset with 6GB RAM and 256GB storage that has been priced at Rs 62,999, while the variant with a Snapdragon 820 with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage is priced at Rs 49,999. Coming to the massive Zenfone 3 Ultra, it has been priced at Rs 49,999.  Both the Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe and the Zenfone 3 Ultra were first announced at Computex 2016. The ZenFone 3 Deluxe is the new flagship by the company with light aluminum alloy unibody, 5.7 inch Full HD Super AMOLED display and 100 percent NTSC colour space. The device has ultra-thin bezels and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820, Adreno 530 GPU with 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. The second and top-of-the-line variant packs in a Snapdragon 821 with an Adreno 530 clocked at 653MHz along with 256GB of internal storage. The device has 23MP rear shooter with Sony IMX318 image sensor with a large f/2.0 aperture and 4-axis optical image stabilization for image and 3-axis electronic stabilization for 4K UHD videos. The camera has a combined laser AF and phase-detection AF system. The ZenFone 3 Deluxe supports QuickCharge 3.0, has a built-in fingerprint sensor on the rear and sports a reversible USB 3.0 Type-C port at the bottom.  Coming to the Asus Zenfone 3 Ultra phablet, its main aimed at multimedia lovers. It packs in a 6.8 inch Full HD display with with 95 percent NTSC color gamut and Asus-exclusive Tru2Life+ Video technology for a “high-end 4K UHD TV-grade” experience. The device sports Hi-Res Audio (HRA) along with new powerful speakers. The speakers are claimed to use a 5 magnet, Dolby-certified design. The device runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor along with an Adreno 510 GPU and 4GB of RAM. It has the same 23MP rear camera as the ZenFone 3 Deluxe and sports a high-capacity, 4,600mAh battery with QuickCharge 3.0 Technology. The phone also works as a powerbank with 1.5A output for charging other devices. The Zenfone 3 Deluxe will be available in Glacier Silver and Sand Gold while the Zenfone 3 Ultra will be available in Titanium Grey and Glacier Silver.
