Asus ZenBook UX305 with Intel Core M processor launched in India at Rs 49,999

Asus has unveiled a new 3.3-inch QHD+ ultraportable laptop at 12.3mm in India priced at Rs 49,999. Asus offers two color variants namely Obsidian Stone and Ceramic Alloy.

Asus ZenBook UX305 with Intel Core M processor launched in India at Rs 49,999

Asus has unveiled a new 13.3-inch QHD+ ultraportable laptop at 12.3mm in India priced at Rs 49,999. Asus offers two color variants namely Obsidian Stone and Ceramic Alloy. The device will be available across all Asus Stores as well as on Flipkart starting May 15. In terms of design, the new ZenBook offers a sleek new wedge-shaped design, which is said to be crafted from solid aluminum and enhanced with diamond-cut highlights. The new Asus UX305 weighs 1.2kg and features an in-plane switching (IPS) anti-glare display with a 3200 x 1800 pixel resolution. The display is said to have five times the resolution of a standard HD display, and features a pixel density of 275ppi for images and video. The device also sports a 300cd/m2 brightness, a contrast ratio of 770:1 and an ergonomic anti-glare coating. It is powered by an Intel Core M-5Y10 processor,8GB RAM and features a 512GB SSD (solid-state disk). Asus states that, “the full-size ergonomic keyboard has an improved layout for comfortable and accurate typing in any lighting conditions, and the large responsive touchpad supports Smart Gestures for intuitive control of Windows 8.1.” The company claims that the device offers a battery life of up to 10 hours. The Asus ZenBook also features Asus IceCool technology, which ensures a cooler palm rest area. In terms of connectivity, the Asus ZenBook includes a total of three USB 3.0 ports. One of the USB ports supports ASUS Charger+ technology for rapid recharging of mobile devices. A USB-to-Ethernet adapter is bundled with UX305, along with a mini DisplayPort-to-VGA adapter for connecting to an external monitor. Peter Chang, Region Head, South Asia & Country Manager, System Business Group at ASUS India says, “Today’s introduction of our latest Asus ZenBook is our step ahead to make the incredible available for the Indian masses. Zenbook UX305 is one of our elite ranges of products and will further enhance our Ultrabook Series and quality offerings for our existing and prospective customers.”
