Asus’s latest concept phone would make the iPhone a thing of the past, if it actually materializes from its concept stage.
The phone features a full 3.9-inch ‘high-resolution’ touch-screen display and a navigation pad/soft key ‘panel’ that can slide across the screen to be positioned anywhere. There’s also a full QWERTY keyboard that slides out from the side. And all this has been managed in just 6mm of thinness.
The phone also has a 2 megapixel camera on the back, but there doesn’t seem to be any sign of a flash. Inside the phone, they’ve thought of HSDPA, WiFi, Bluetooth 2.0 and also a microSD expansion slot. The Aura has a standard mini-USB slot (from where it would also recharge, I assume) and a 3.5mm stereo jack so you can plug your Shure earphones into it.
I’m waiting for this as much as all of you are.
