Asus launches ZenPad tablets in India starting at Rs 11,999; Zenfone Max coming in October

Asus had released a new line up of tablets, called the Asus ZenPad series, at Computex earlier this year. The company now brings the new tablets to the Indian market – ZenPad 8.0 priced at Rs 14,999 and ZenPad 7.0 at Rs 11,999. Sporting an 8-inch and 7-inch display size respectively, both ZenPad 8.0 and 7.0 feature a 1280 x 800 pixel display.  Both are powered by the Intel Atom x3 processor. These tablets will come in a range of colours and run Android 5.0 Lollipop with the Asus ZenUI skin on top. Asus will offer optional pressure sensitive stylus for ZenPad 8. Along with the Zenpad series, Asus launched three new smartphones in India –  ZenFone 2 Deluxe, ZenFone Laser and ZenFone Selfie . The company has also announced the world exclusive Zenfone Max with a whopping 5000mAh battery despite the sleek 5.2mm thickness. It will be officially announced in October and there is no word on its pricing yet.
