Asus launches ZenFone Max (M1) with a 4,000 mAh battery alongside Zenfone 5 series smartphones at MWC 2018

Taiwanese smartphone manufacturer Asus launched the ZenFone Max (M1) on 27 February at MWC 2018. The smartphone was launched along with the ZenFone 5 series of smartphones. The smartphones **launched under the ZenFone 5 series** include ZenFone 5Z, ZenFone 5 and ZenFone 5 Lite. The price of the Asus ZenFone Max (M1) (ZB555KL) has not been revealed by the company. [caption id=“attachment_4370739” align=“alignleft” width=“380”] ZenFone Max (M1).[/caption] The Asus ZenFone Max (M1) (ZB555KL) comes in two variants, one with Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 SoC and the other with a Snapdragon 430 SoC coupled with 3 GB RAM. It features a 5.5-inch HD Plus 18:9 aspect ratio display on the front. At back the smartphone comes with a 13 MP + 8 MP dual camera setup whereas the front-facing camera is an 8 MP unit. It may vary depending on the region in which the smartphone has been launched. The Asus smartphone is powered by a 4,000 mAh battery, which brings a talk-time of 26 hours on a 3G connection and a standby time of 41 days on a 4G connection. The company has included face unlock feature on the smartphone and a fingerprint sensor lies on the rear side of the device. The smartphone will come with Android 8.0 Oreo and 3 GB RAM. Connectivity options on the smartphone includes dual Nano SIM card slot, up to 32 GB internal storage, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n (dual-band, 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz), Bluetooth v 4.0, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB, and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. Storage can be expanded  up to 256 GB by inserting a micro-SD card. The Asus ZenFone Max (M1) will be available in Deep Sea Black, Sunlight Gold, and Ruby Red colour variants.
