Asus has just launched its latest smartphone, the Asus ZenFone AR in India at a price of Rs. 49,999 exclusively on Flipkart from 4 PM IST on 13 July, 2017.

Asus launches ZenFone AR in India for Rs 49,999; to go on sale from 4 PM on 13 July, 2017

Asus has just launched its latest smartphone, the Asus ZenFone AR in India. The ZenFone AR is priced at Rs. 49,999 and will be available exclusively on Flipkart from 4:00 PM IST on 13 July ,2017. The highlight about this device is the fact that this is one of the very few smartphones that supports Google Daydream along with its depth-sensing capabilities. ZenFone AR will feature a 5.7-inch quad-HD (1440 x 2560 pixels) Super AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 4. The phone will come with a staggering 8 GB RAM with 128 GB internal storage. The smartphone comes with 4G-enabled Dual Nano-SIM slots with the second slot acting as a hybrid slot. It offers expandable memory option up to 2 TB using an external microSD card. Asus has worked in a partnership with Google to be one of the forerunners in developing ‘Project Tango’ making it the first smartphone to support Tango as well as Daydream. Flipkart will be providing Rs 2,500 Daydream View VR Headset on purchase of an Asus Zenphone AR. ZenFone AR features a 23 MP camera module with f/2.0 aperture at the back with four-axis optical image stabalization, 3x zoom, and phase detection autofocus. The rear side of the smartphone packs two more camera modules that track the motion and depth separately. It also packs an 8 MP camera module with f/2.0 aperture on the front. Asus has also added USB 2.0 Type-C reversible connector, FM radio, GPS, Bluetooth v4.2 and Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac along with Wi-Fi Direct and hotspot as connectivity options. It also comes with an accelerometer, gyroscope, compass, barometer, fingerprint and proximity sensors. Also Asus has partnered up with Reliance Jio and offered 100 GB of additional Data plus Jio Prime membership on the purchase of the phone. Asus has added SonicMaster 3.0 technology in ZenFone AR to ensure a stellar audio experience with support for High-resolution audio and DTS HeadphoneX. The device will be powered by a 3,300 mAh non-removable lithium ion battery. The device will only be available in Black color.
