Asus has launched the world’s first active-noise cancellation pro-gaming headset called the ROG Vulcan ANC. It belongs to the Republic of Gamers line of products. Asus claims that the headset is able to cancel out about 85 percent of surrounding noise which also includes the low frequency noise generated by computer fans. The Vulvan ANC is powered by two 40mm inbuilt drivers. The foam padding in the headphones should make long gaming sessions comfortable. The headset is foldable and fits very nicely into its rigid touring case. The most noticeable feature of this headset is its detachable noise-filtering microphone. The katana-shaped microphone has a separate 3.5mm jack which fits in the headset very comfortably and can be removed as per convenience. The scratch-resistant carbon shield keeps the headset in good condition even after heavy use. It also has clip-on volume control to mute and adjust the volume with ease. A durable 3.5mm detachable cable is also included as part of the bundle. Asus’ ROG lineup covers components from motherboards to notebooks, graphics cards and now, headphones.
