Asus has unveiled its latest professional monitor; the 31.5-inch 4K UHD PQ321QE in India. The monitor is priced at Rs 2,35,000 (without taxes) and comes with a three year warranty. The mammoth 31.5 inch screen comes with a 3840x2160 ultra-high definition (UHD) resolution, and a pixel density of 140ppi, which is great for such a large display. Traditional amorphous silicon has been replaced by anti-glare Indium Gallium Zinc Oxide (IGZO) panel that is made up of very small transistors, for supposedly clearer picture. The display has an aspect ratio of 16:9, so it’s great if you require a widescreen setup. The new Asus monitor has a Display Port and 2W stereo speakers. It comes with anti-glare feature, ultra-wide viewing angle of 176 degree and is energy efficient. The mountable design will allow users to tilt, swivel and even adjust the height of the monitor. The monitor has a maximum thickness of 35mm and is claimed by the company to be the thinnest 4K UHD display. About the launch of the new monitor, Vinay Shetty – Country Head – Component Business, Asus India said, “By doubling the number of horizontal and vertical pixels, the PQ321QE True 4K UHD monitor provides every bit of detail, far surpassing that of a Full HD monitor. With four times the resolution of Full HD (FHD) and over 8 million pixels, users can experience larger screen real estate and clarity.”
