Endgadget has reported that Asus has launched two new laptops the G1 and G2 designed keeping gamers in mind.
The base model G1, ships with a 15-inch screen and sports a green outer LED. The more powerful G2, ships with a 17-inch screen and is equipped with a red outer LED. In terms of specifications, both the laptops are built on Intel’s new ‘Merom’ platform, better known as the Core2Duo. Asus offers a wide range of processors to choose from, starting from the budget T5500 to the powerful T7600. They also offer 2 GB RAM, upto 160 GB HDD space and Lightscribe compatible dual-layer DVD burners.
The graphics on these powerful machines will be powered by Go7700 graphics chipset for G1 and the ATI Mobility Radeon X1700 for the G2.
