Asus Introduces EEE Box Small PC

ASUS in association with Intel has announced the launch of world’s greenest, quietest and the most cost effective desktop PC in India. The Eee Box consumes 90% less power than normal desktop PCs and is one of the quietest with only 26 decibels sound emission.

Speaking on the occasion Mr. Benson Lin, Corporate Vice President, ASUS, said, “With the ever increasing concern over global warming and the looming threat to the environment, ASUS has taken multiple initiatives in manufacturing green, eco-friendly products. These initiatives are part of our social and environmental responsibilities as well as part of ASUS’ strategic goal to tap the potential that ‘Green Industry’ has in future. We have made substantial investment in the R&D for green technology and will roll out products manufactured from environment-friendly materials, consuming much less power and conforming to stringent RoHS and WEEE standards.”
