ASUS India announced the arrival of Asus Zenfone AR in India, which is expected to happen soon. Released at the Consumer Electronic Show (CES) early this year, in Las Vegas, the new Taiwan-based smartphone comes with 8 GB RAM and Google Tango support.

As per ASUS website , the phone has 3,000 mAh (non-removable) battery. And it works on Android 7.0 along with Asus ZenUI 3.0 and comes with a fingerprint sensor. As of now it comes in a black colour.

This phone comes packed with support for Google Tango, which provides 3D technology for enabling augmented reality experiences. This is the second phone which uses Google Tango technology and the first to have 8 GB of RAM. Coming with a Super AMOLED, 5.7-inch display with Gorilla Glass 4 protection, the display will also support a Bluelight Filter for eyecare. Google Daydream , which in turn supports virtual reality, is included. In order to support augmented and virtual reality, this phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 platform.

With a TriCam System, this phone comes with a 23 MP rear camera with PixelMaster 3.0 technology (and an aperture of f/2.0), a motion-tracking and depth-sensing camera enable augmented reality. Meanwhile, it has an 8 MP front camera along with a screen flash.Internal storage is limited 64 GB and a microSD slot that supports up to 2 TB external storage.

This phone comes with a 5-magnet speaker, which is an inbuilt speaker on the top. It also has a dual internal mic which comes with an ASUS Noise Reduction Technology. VoLTE is supported.

The phone also supports two SIM cards, but you’ll need to sacrifice the microSD card slot for that.
