Asus announces Strix GTX 950 graphics card in India

Asus has announced the Strix GTX 950, a new graphics card with improved gaming performance in India. It will be available in standard and OC versions. Available at a starting price of Rs 15,500, it is backed by a 3-year warranty. Powered by the latest GeForce GTX 950 graphics-processing unit (GPU), Strix GTX 950 comes with GPU boost clock speeds of up to 1329 MHz in gaming mode and 1355 MHz in OC mode. It promises to deliver up to 11.5 percent faster gaming performance than reference cards in The Witcher 3. It also comes packed with exclusive Asus technologies - DirectCU II with a patented wing-blade 0dB fans for cooler and quieter performance. Strix GTX 950 also features 0dB fan technology, which stops fan rotation completely during lighter gaming session. This helps eliminate noise for undisturbed gameplay, while operating at 3X-quieter volumes than reference cards, claims the company. The Strix GTX 950 has an overclocking tool designed to let users get maximum performance out of their graphics card, claims the company.
