Asus announces 3G-enabled ZenFone Go in India at Rs 5,299

Asus has now launched the Asus ZenFone Go 4.5 in India at a price of Rs 5,299, making an entry in to the affordable smartphone segment. The device can be purchased starting today on Flipkart and in Asus exclusive stores as well as other offline stores from the second week of January.

Asus announces 3G-enabled ZenFone Go in India at Rs 5,299

Asus has launched the Asus ZenFone Go (ZC451TG) in India at a price of Rs 5,299, making an entry in to the affordable smartphone segment. The device can be purchased starting today on Flipkart and in Asus exclusive stores as well as other offline stores from the second week of January. The phone will also be available on other e-commerce portals later on. It will be offered in Charcoal Black, Pearl White, Rouge Pink and Flash Blue color variants. In terms of specifications, the device sports a 4.5-inch FWVGA display with a 480 x 854 pixel resolution. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6580M processor paired with 1GB RAM. The device runs on Android Lollipop 5.1 with Zen UI 2.0 and includes an internal storage of 8GB which can be further expanded up to 64GB via microSD card, in addition to a 5GB lifetime Asus web storage. On the camera front, the device features a 5MP rear camera along with a 0.3MP front facing camera. In terms of connectivity, the smartphone features 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS, aGPS and more. A 1600mAh battery completes the package. Announcing the availability for ZenFone Go, Peter Chang, of Asus India, said, “ZenFone Go wraps up an extremely successful year for us in India. We are elated to see the response that we received through the year for our ZenFone range of smartphones and are sure that our offering for the budget segment packed with features at an affordable price, will be appreciated by our users as well.”
