Ubisoft’s upcoming pirate-themed game, Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag, is getting a midnight launch in India. Those who can’t wait for the break of dawn to get their hands on the game can attend the midnight launch event taking place on October 28 at Games The Shop in Oberoi Mall, Mumbai. The game itself will be available for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 and will cost Rs 2,999.
At the launch event, attendees will get chances to grab Assassin’s Creed 4 goodies, including diaries, key chains, posters, stickers, t-shirts, bags and playing cards. There is also a chance for one of the attendees to get an exclusive poster of the game signed by the development team. Anyone picking up the game at the midnight launch will also get a steelbook case.

What pirate game is complete without eyepatches?
Sadly enough, the PC version won’t be available until the end of November. This comes as no surprise, since the PC version of every Assassin’s Creed game so far has been delayed. “We’re working hard on the PC version,” Game Director Ashraf Ismail said when he made the announcement . “It’s one of the main platforms we’ve worked on in the office … For our PC fans, don’t worry. The game on PC looks phenomenal.”
Ismail also revealed that Assassin’s Creed 4 will have a new progression system where players won’t be able to accidentally wander into areas that are beyond their skill levels. Before entering these areas, players will have to upgrade the skills of protagonist Edward Kenway. This is because the game world will be huge; bigger than any other Assassin’s Creed game so far.
Ever heard of one of those people who just never seem to shut up about something? Shunal is like the nerd equivalent of that guy. Believe us when we say that he can go on talking about games and smartphones for hours on end. We do manage to find some insight in his insane ramblings though, and through his moronic facade, he does seem to know more than he lets on. Sadly enough, it always ends up being about gaming with him. Or stupid, stupid puns.
