Along with Jak and Daxter HD, Stealth Inc: A Clone in Time, Urban Trials Freestyle and New Little King's Story...

Sony has announced the new crop of games that will be making their way to the PlayStation Plus Instant Game Collection on the PlayStation 3 and the PlayStation Vita. Headlining the collection for the month of September is Assassin's Creed 3, which will be available on August 28. Other games include Jak and Daxter HD Collection and Stealth Inc: A Clone in the Dark for the PS3, and Urban Trial Freestyle and New Little King's Story on the PS Vita.

Along with this, PlayStation Plus subscribers also get exclusive access to the Killzone Mercenary beta and the demo for Puppeteer. Leaving the Instant Game Collection on the same day are Need for Speed Most Wanted, ICO and Shadow of the Colossus HD Collection, Demon's Souls, LEGO Lord of the Rings and When Vikings Attack.

Assassin's Creed 3 is the ending of Desmond's story as he dons the role of Connor Kenway—a half-British and half-Mohawk assassin. The game is set during the American Revolution. Players will meet and often fight alongside legendary heroes of American history such as George Washington.

The Jak and Daxter HD Collection includes the first three games of the Jak franchise—Jack and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy, Jak II and Jak 3. The games are classic platformers from an era that has long passed by. They are remastered versions of the PlayStation 2 classics, developed by Naughty Dog, who you might recognise as the developers of the Uncharted series and The Last of Us.

Stealth Inc: A Clone in the Dark is a renamed console version of PC stealth platformer Stealth Bastard: Tactical Espionage Arsehole. The game is a fast-paced platformers with emphasis on stealth and twitch controls. It features more than 80 levels that consist of brutal hazards, ruthless enemies, fiendish puzzles and gore in all of the game's 8-bit styled glory.

Urban Trial Freestyle has you go through levels of varying obstacles as you try and stunt your way through the game. It has an addictive "one more try" quality to it, especially because of its time trials and instant restart button.

In New Little King's Story, players assume the role of 14-year-old King Corobo, who is tasked with reclaiming his kingdom from an invader known only as the Nightmare. Players have to unite their subjects and fight back to reclaim the kingdom.
