The elusive founder of Wikileaks, Julian Assange is all set to make his debut as a talk show host, featuring Palestinian Hezbollah leader Sayyid Nasrallah - a guest sure to raise eyebrows in the United States. The show will be aired on a Russian television channel called RT, which is ironically often decried for being a mouthpiece for the Kremlin.

But in an interview broadcast ahead of the show Assange said he had full editorial control and insisted it was the best way to reach his audience.

The show features Palestinian freedom fighter Sayyid Nasrallah talking about why Hezbollah supports Syrian president Bashar al-Assad as Syria supported resistance in Lebanon and “hasn’t backed down in the face of Israeli and American pressure.”

He will also discuss the Arab spring, and why Hezbollah still considers Israel to be an illegal state. The show, called “The World tomorrow” is due to air at 1130GMT (7:30 a.m. EDT) Tuesday. ( More details on the show here )

Assange remains under strict bail conditions at an undisclosed location in England while he fights extradition to Sweden on sex crime allegations.
