Turns out, it’s now Apple’s turn to hire from talent from Tesla. According to a report, Apple has hired former VP of Engineering at Tesla, and former Aston Martin Chief Engineer, Chris Porritt. It is believed Porritt would work on ‘special projects’ at Apple.

And when it comes to cars, undoubtedly, Tesla has carved a niche for itself. From being well designed, to implementing cutting edge technology, Elon Musk’s venture has left no stone unturned in ‘getting it right.’ Tesla is also known to hire the ‘very best talent.’ Even if that means poaching from Apple. Turns out, it’s now Apple’s turn to hire from talent from Tesla. According to a report in Electrek , Apple has hired former VP of Engineering at Tesla, and former Aston Martin Chief Engineer, Chris Porritt. It is believed Porritt would work on ‘special projects’ at Apple. Project Titan  is a secret project at Apple that is widely believed to house efforts on the electric and potentially self-driven car project. Recently, Steve Zadesky, who has been leading Apple’s electric car project was reported to have quit the company . Earlier this month, Tesla announced the Model 3, which has been priced at $35,000 and would also be available for pre-order in India. The Model 3 surprised the industry with the preorders of up to $14billion at last count.
