Apple Watch Series 3 claims 80-90 percent of all the pre-orders received by the company: Ming-Chi Kuo

Apple announced the **Watch Series 3** at its **iPhone X** launch event on 12 September. Along with the GPS watch, Apple also announced an LTE-supported variant which can operate independently of the iPhone. Pre-orders for these new watches have already begun. And it’s not surprising that which of the two watches are getting more love from Apple users. According to a report by A_ppleInsider_, Ming-Chi Kuo an analyst of the KGI securities has revealed that the recently launched LTE-enabled Apple Watch Series 3 is reported to have received 80 to 90 percent of all the pre-orders received by the company. [caption id=“attachment_4037401” align=“alignleft” width=“380”] Apple Watch Series 3 Cellular[/caption] Kuo also believes that the Apple’s smartwatch has seen a “marked shipment growth.” He recently **said** that Apple’s **iPhone X** will not be able to achieve complete supply-demand equilibrium until next year. The LTE-enabled smartwatch will be shipped on 22 September in US. The pre-orders for the Apple smartwatch, 4K TV and the two variants of iPhone 8 opened on 15 September. The cellular variant of the smartwatch is priced at $399 (around Rs 26,000) and the non-cellular version starts at $329 (around Rs 22,000) The  **Watch Series 3** comes with an-in built eSIM which is smaller than a nano SIM card. The eSIM connects the Watch to the cellular network even when it is not connected to an iPhone. The smartwatch comes with 16 GB of internal storage and packs a dual-core processor that is 70 percent faster than the previous generation watch by Apple. The non-cellular version comes with 8 GB storage. All the Apple’s Watch Series 3 smartwatches run on watchOS 4. The watches come with an improved heart rate functionalities and run Apple music independently. The **iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus** will be launched on 29 September in India , but the dates of the launch of the Apple Smartwatch has not been revealed by the company.
